Variable mapping controls how values such as Name, OTP, URL, and other fields are inserted into the message template during campaign creation. The platform supports two types of variable mapping: Static and Dynamic. To open this section, click Variable Mapping in the campaign creation form.

The Variable Mapping panel

The panel is split into:
  • Data Sources (left): lists the File Columns extracted from your uploaded recipient file (e.g., phone_number, name, OTP, url) and a Static Values input for fixed values.
  • Suggestion Variables (right): one slot per variable in the selected template (e.g., link). Drag a data source into each slot.
  • Progress indicators (bottom): Total Variables, Mapped, and Progress percentage. When every variable is mapped, the panel shows All variables mapped successfully and progress reads 100%.
The phone-style preview on the right reflects the mapped values.

Static mapping

Use static mapping when the value should remain the same for all recipients. Ideal for fixed URLs, brand names, or common text.
1

Open Variable Mapping

Click Variable Mapping.
2

Enter the fixed value

In Static Values, enter the fixed value (URL, name, or OTP).
3

Add the value

Click +. The value appears in the Static Values list.
4

Map the variable

Drag the static value to the Suggestion Variables field.

Dynamic mapping

Use dynamic mapping when the value should change per recipient, pulled directly from the uploaded file. Perfect for OTPs, names, links, and similar per-recipient values.
1

Review the file columns

In File Columns, view the fields extracted from the uploaded recipient file.
2

Map the column

Drag the required column (e.g., name, otp, url) into the variable field under Suggestion Variables.
3

Values populate at send time

Each row auto-populates during execution — every recipient receives the value from their own row in the file.
You can mix mapping types in one campaign: map some variables to static values and others to file columns.
