A Tech Solution Provider (TSP) builds on OneXtel’s WhatsApp infrastructure to onboard and serve its own end-customers. This page covers the full path from commercial agreement to your first customer sending live messages. Budget three to five weeks end to end, assuming your documentation is ready when you start.
This is partner onboarding, not customer onboarding. If you are a business activating WhatsApp for your own messaging, see Onboarding WhatsApp instead.

The eleven steps

All durations are business days.
Steps 7 and 8 are where timelines slip. Together they account for up to fifteen business days, and both sit with Meta rather than with OneXtel or you. Prepare the review submission carefully — a rejected review restarts the clock.

Commercial and Meta setup

1

Commercial alignment

OneXtel and you define commercial terms, credit limits, billing currency, and the scope of the programme.
2

Meta Business Portfolio setup

Establish a verified Meta Business Portfolio. Use accurate legal information and a corporate domain — a mismatch between your registered legal entity and what you enter here is a common cause of failure at verification, several weeks later.
3

Meta App creation

Register as a Meta Developer and create a dedicated Meta App of type Business in the Messaging category.
4

Tech Provider enrolment

Enrol in the Tech Provider Program through the Meta App Dashboard and accept the terms. OneXtel guides you through this.

Linking to OneXtel

1

Partner Solution linking

A Partner Solution is created linking your Meta App to OneXtel’s Partner App ID with Partner Only permissions.
2

Solution approval

OneXtel reviews and approves the Partner Solution request, which generates your unique Solution ID. This identifies your integration for everything that follows.

Meta review

1

Meta App review and demos

Submit your Meta App for review, including two video demonstrations — one covering the messaging lifecycle, one covering the template lifecycle.Record these against a working integration. Reviewers are checking that the flows genuinely function, not that they have been described.
2

Access verification

Meta validates your organisation as a legitimate Tech Provider. Respond promptly to any questions Meta raises — an unanswered enquiry stalls the review rather than failing it, and the delay is invisible until you chase.

Implementation and go-live

1

Embedded signup implementation

Implement the Facebook JavaScript SDK popup flow so your end-customers can onboard themselves. This is the longest step you control — anywhere from three to ten business days depending on your stack.
2

Credit line activation

OneXtel extends the credit line to your WhatsApp Business Accounts, activating the billing relationship.
3

Go-live

Your first end-customer completes onboarding and live messaging begins.

Planning the timeline

Three to five weeks assumes your documentation is ready on day one. The steps worth preparing for in advance:
  • Legal entity details and corporate domain for step 2 — gather these before you start, since correcting them later invalidates work downstream.
  • Video demonstrations for step 7 — these need a working integration, so scope development time to have something demonstrable before the review window.
  • Embedded signup for step 9 — you can begin building against the Facebook JavaScript SDK while Meta review is in progress rather than waiting for approval.
